Psychohistorians is a jammy 5-piece band from Wellington. Our name means “those wise in the ways of the soul”, and we try to bring a sense of this to our music.
We began as a duo project between Stephen and Karl to experiment with various tunes and harmonies. Eventually they invited in Sayaka for a collaboration video, then expanded further to include Jackie and Michelle. Now the band are exploring various folk melodies (and other genres!) to share with the wider music community.
