My Asylum

My Asylum was a 5-piece band from South Auckland. Their sound has been likened to bands such as Incubus, Blindspott, Linkin Park and Breaking Benjamin.

Other influences also include Staind, Killswitch Engage, Creed, 30 Seconds to Mars, Foo Fighters, and Hoobastank.

Their list of achievements include:

– Being included on the Riot on Sunset Vol. 17 Compilation CD, produced in California.
– Finalists in the “Summer Slamz Band Competition” to play with Goodnight Nurse.
– Finalists in the 2008 KFC “Sounds From Your Hometown” competition.

My Asylum went on to become Fire At Will. Charlie now performs with Dead Favours.
