Formed in 1999 in Christchurch, Degrees.K toured and played a many a show in around many caves in New Zealand. Three releases in New Zealand through indie label Failsafe records (Lifelike, Click and Jay.Tee.Four.Pee) sent Degrees.K to Sydney where they are now formally based. After many a tour of Australia in March 2004 Degrees.K released their first Australian record called Children Of The Night Sky through Aloha Records/Inertia.
Degrees.K have shared the stage with a many a great band including The Datsuns, Shihad, Cog, Betchadupa, Grinspoon, Icarus line, the Butterfly Effect and Love Outside Andromeda.
Described as a melodic, circular sound with a driving brigade degrees.k have produced a sound that is recognised as an emotive taste and a sniff for more.
Degrees.K welcomes you to experience the soundscape of No Railings, Blue Man, The Toe, Narcotics and Sergent Stand Up with the intention to turn on the lights in your house.
