Luckless Release New Single ‘Hawks’

Anticipating their debut album release in May, melancholic indie-rock duo Luckless, release their second single, ‘Hawks’.
‘Hawks’ leads with a warm intensifying electric guitar riff and the deep vocals of guitarist Ivy Rossiter and drummer WillWood uttering: Save all your teeth and smiles, I’ll string them in a circle, to hold me in when I go wild, corral the maddened world we pass through. Guitar, bass and percussion swell into the surging, propelling chorus and lead us back to the backbone of the song; that memorable guitar riff.
Luckless recorded their debut at Roundhead Studios, and together with audio engineer Jordan Stone (Wilco, The Pyjama Club, Crowded House), the band spent 12 months fine-tuning the album. They also hit the road last year playing to increasingly rapturous audiences throughout the country alongside Bond Street Bridge, Flip Grater and Timothy Blackman to name a few.
The Luckless album is due for release 25th May.
