Delete Delete video for ‘Silver Linings’

Auckland-based guitar-synth, alt pop-rockers Delete Delete offer a sweet taster from their pending debut album.
Silver Linings deliciously mashes vocal and lyrical hooks, rocking indie guitars and tasty synths, all delivered with swagger by Lani Purkis, Kurt Shanks and Chris van de Geer.
The new video for the song – directed by Marc Swadel, is a cut-up ambient collage, his own word-related visual take on the song. Swadel shot it over the summer on his travels through New York, London, Osaka and Auckland.

The follow up single Heaven’s Never Been So Far Away was a finalist in 2015’s International Songwriting Competition. Its release will be quickly followed by their debut album through Tone Tonic Records, also featuring earlier singles What Do You Take Me For and Between The Lines, both of which were supported by the student radio and commercial networks alike.
Delete Delete spent the summer performing a select few shows (including the SoundSplash festival) and are now adding the finishing touches to their debut LP.
