Lydia Cole Adds Extra Date to ‘The Lay of the Land’ Album Tour

Don’t miss your chance to see Lydia Cole live before the talented Kiwi singer-songwriter relocates to Berlin.
Cole will release her second full-length album, The Lay Of The Land, on February 17, 2017. She’ll also tour the album playing shows in Auckland, Christchurch and Wellington before heading to Germany.
With a reputation as a captivating live performer, who has supported the likes of Ed Sheeran, Diana Krall, Brooke Fraser and José González, the upcoming tour is proving popular. Cole’s show at The Vic in Auckland on March 10 has already sold out, so she’s added an extra date in Auckland and will now play the Wine Cellar on March 2.
Cole’s band will join her on this tour. They play the Space Academy in Christchurch on March 3, with support from Holly Arrowsmith and Meow Barin Wellington on March 11, with support from Jol Mulholland. Chris William will open for her at the sold out show at The Vic in Auckland on March 10.
Cole will play songs from her critically acclaimed album (Me & Moon) and of course, new material from the new album The Lay Of The Land, which includes the just-released single Telepathise.
The song was accompanied by a stunning stop-motion video made by New Zealand-born animator/illustrator and musician Timothy Armstrong, who now lives in Berlin.
The songs Sober and Dream – which earned the singer-songwriter her second Silver Scroll nomination – are also on the nine-track The Lay Of The Land.
