Tommie – New Single ‘Better’

Winner of the Smokefree Rockquest ‘Women’s Musicianship Award’ Bianca Erceg releases her first single Better under the Tommie moniker.

The eldest of six children, Tommie’s musical spark came when her Nana introduced her to Elvis and legendary girl groups via ‘The Best of the 60’s’ compilations.

Currently completing her last year in a Bachelor of Music at MAINZ, Tommie learnt to play the guitar at eight, and has been performing at Auckland’s coolest bar The Wine Cellar.

Better is the first single from her debut EP Bleach, which is co-produced with Noema, using sampling and experimentation with Logic Pro X, keyboards and a microphone.

Tommie describes Better “… I was greatly influenced by K-pop style – heavy electronic and fun sounding, yet with rebellious undertones”.
