New Empire To Ashes Album to be Released this November

our secret, silent storms is the fifth full-length album by Auckland-based dark ambient / electro-drone / alternative electronica multi-media project Empire to Ashes. It is the first of a series of albums that will comprise “sequence two”, which is a radical thematic departure from the content of the first “sequence” which consisted of the albums [in pieces], Deconstructed [between the pieces], beneath, and trinity:complete.

Empire to Ashes is the solo project of Jamie Denton (ex-bassist for Poison Skies, Ishtar and Naquadah), and after over 20 years in the Auckland music, Empire to Ashes sees Jamie stepping out from behind the bass, capturing the “sounds and voices that have been bouncing around my head”.

The Empire to Ashes approach is a DIY one, where all performing, programming, recording, composing, mixing, mastering and the creation of the accompanying videos and artwork are handled alone by Jamie himself.
