New artist management and development company Luna signs their first artist, Jack Panther

New artist management and development company Luna, founded by multi-faceted artist, songwriter and producer Mckenzie Comer (aka MCK), is excited to announce the signing of up and coming queer artist, Jack Panther.

Emerging from the Wellington scene and already turning heads in the music and fashion industry, Jack released his sophomore EP This Dream I Had featuring the track Blue Boy last year. Crafting his sound through experimentation with self-taught piano and a love of poetry, he has been deeply fuelled by artists like Arctic Monkeys, Lykke Li and Banks – blending candid pop with a melancholy edge.

At the age of 23, Jack has developed through mentoring by industry greats such as Andrew Scheps, Stuart Hawkes, and UK-based producer Ian Barter, who has worked across developing artists like Amy Winehouse, FKA Twigs and Paloma Faith. Focused on establishing key collaborators and a clear direction for his next body of work, Luna cannot wait to see what 2021 has in store for this young icon in the making.

On the reason she started Luna, Comer expressed “my goal is to create more opportunities for new artists so that they have the resources they need to be able to develop their craft, write better songs, play more shows, find key collaborators, make strong releases and maintain ownership of their work without needing a record label.”
