Parabola West releases ‘No One Can Get Me Here’ on Friday February 25th

Parabola West shows us the breadth of her musical repertoire with the new single No One Can Get Me Here and dives headfirst into playful pop.
Her most recent single Hannah, released in November last year, was a gorgeous but mournful Celtic ballad. No One Can Get Me Here is a very different beast – a mischievous track which revels in the joy of flinging aside the daily grind, and losing yourself in nature.
Parabola West says, “No One Can Get Me Here was recorded during a time of human disconnection around the world. For me, nature became a playful sanctuary and an enduring source of connection. Even if the world felt crazy, the night sky was calm, the trees were moving in the breeze, and nature carried on. It was so comforting to smile at the stars.”
Produced by Scott Newth (Knightshade, Cornerstone Roots, The Datsuns), No One Can Get Me Here opens with a cheeky refrain, launches into a joyful ode to nature, with a catchy ‘do do do do’ that will raise anyone to their feet, and is capped by a lovely flute solo by West’s sister, Alex (recorded in the US). Overall Parabola West’s sound can be compared to Aurora, Halsey, and Eivør, and this song especially could happily sit alongside Lorde’s latest work.
No One Can Get Me Here will be released on February 25th.
