DiCE_NZ Releases New Track ‘Real With Me’ on 30 September with Flying Man
The pair have produced an upfront vocal house track with a tinge of 90’s nostalgia that’s dance-floor ready!
DiCE_NZ, aka DJ Dave Ti is particularly known for edits & remixes, and work with legends such as Fat Freddy’s Drop and House of Downtown, as well DJ sets that range from long-form Soul, Funk & Disco journeys, to peak-time House-Funk explosions
On his sixth release of the year following on from remixes of Swedish act Glamour Hammer and local indie-kids Feshh, as well as posthumous remix of Danish singer Suzanne Menzel, and his own Situation EP and Highrollers releases, DiCE_NZ makes another sharp turn teaming up with Irish-born Dunedin based singer-songwriter Flying Man.
Flying Man (Alan Ned Gray) is known for his live looping and singer-songwriter style, and released his debut solo song Since You’ve Been Gone earlier in the year. Although an unexpected pairing, Flying Man sounds right at home surrounded by hands in the air house goodness.
September 30th sees the release of Real With Me – A vocal led, chunky house track with brushes of 90’s nostalgia. There’s classic synths, catchy hooks and even some rave-styled breakbeats; all very convincingly held together by Flying Man’s powerful yet controlled voice bellowing out “You had it real with me!”.
You can hear the roots of DiCE_NZ in this work, who commented “This is a total indulgence. My first musical experiences were very much in raves during the 90’s and I happily revisited some memories making this track. Alan’s contributions are totally the icing on the cake for this one and I hope people enjoy it as much as we did making it”
