In homage to Bowie’s enduring legacy, Riqi Harawira is thrilled to unveil a cover of Let’s Dance.

Symbolised by the imagery of red shoes, Bowie’s exploration of injustice resonates deeply, This song highlights how the First Nation people of Australia have been impacted by racism and how they continue to face the consequences of racist government policies and community attitudes. It’s a powerful message that deserves to be heard, and I feel honoured to be able to share it.”

The song’s message about the struggles of the first nation Australians deeply resonated with me. I started learning how to play the guitar around that time, now I am grateful to be able to perform my version of this awesome song today, and it brings me much joy.”
